Vivolink VLVWIP2000-CTL is a controller for managing JPEG2000 video-over-IP products, including the VLVWIP2000-ENC encoder and VLVWIP2000-DEC decoder. Its built-in web interface and TCP and RS-232 control help configure and manage the system.
Two 100 Mbit RJ-45 ports support separation of the control network from multicast video distribution. The controller also handles AV, IR, RS-232 and USB signal routing, and supports Cat6a cabling. The product sheet specifies a Layer 3 managed 1 Gbit switch with IGMP snooping and 8K Jumbo Frame support for the system.
Power the unit through 802.3af PoE or a local 12 V supply. Its dimensions are 205 × 140 × 26 mm. Package contents listed are a manual, mounting brackets and a quick installation guide; an AC adapter is not included.
