The ASRock B850M Pro-A is a Micro ATX motherboard for building a desktop PC around an AMD Socket AM5 processor. Its B850 chipset supports Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series processors, making it a base for a range of AM5 configurations.
Four DDR5 DIMM slots provide dual-channel memory support and capacity up to 256 GB. The board also supports memory speeds up to 8000+ (OC), subject to the memory and system configuration.
For graphics and storage, it provides a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, three M.2 sockets and four SATA3 connectors. Processor choice can affect expansion bandwidth and M.2 operation. Rear connectivity includes HDMI, DisplayPort, USB ports and 2.5 Gigabit LAN.
