Active DisplayPort to HDMI

The IOGEAR GDPHD4KA is an active adapter for connecting a DisplayPort video source to an HDMI display or projector. Its 20-pin male DisplayPort input converts to a 19-pin Type A female HDMI output, making it suitable for linking devices with these interfaces.

With support for DisplayPort 1.2 and resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz, it carries video to a compatible screen. It also passes multichannel digital audio, including up to 8 channels of LPCM and HBR audio formats, through the same connection.

The attached cable measures 8.6 cm. Plug and play operation needs no external power, software, or driver installation; the adapter draws power from the DisplayPort output. Use it to connect a DisplayPort-equipped computer or graphics card to an HDMI display or projector.
