MikroTik LtAP mini LTE kit (2024), model RB912R-2nD-LTm&EC200A-EU, is a compact wireless access point with an integrated LTE modem and GPS support. It is intended to provide network connectivity and location tracking for vehicles such as cars, buses and trains.
Built-in 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi provides local wireless access, while one 10/100 Ethernet port connects wired devices. The EC200A-EU modem supports LTE FDD bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 28, plus LTE TDD bands 38, 40 and 41. Two Mini SIM slots let you switch between cellular providers.
The compact enclosure is designed for durability and the package includes a wall-mounting kit. GPS tracking works with an external GPS antenna, which is required for the tracking example in the documentation. Internal LTE antennas connect via u.FL connectors, with provision to connect external LTE antennas. Choose from passive PoE-in, a DC jack or MicroUSB for power; an RS232 serial port provides console access.
