TP-Link Deco M4 (3-pack) is an AC1200 dual-band mesh Wi-Fi system that builds a shared home network from three units. It uses Wi-Fi 5, with listed rates of 867 Mbps at 5 GHz and 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz.
All three units use one network name, so connected devices can move between them as you move around the home. Optional Ethernet backhaul can link the units, and each has two Gigabit Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN auto-sensing.
Use the system in router or access point mode and manage it through the Deco app. Parental controls include URL filtering and time controls. The three-unit setup can spread a shared Wi-Fi network across rooms or floors.
