960GB SATA Solid State Drive

The HPE P13809-001-RFB is a refurbished 960GB SATA solid-state drive for enterprise server storage. It is the refurbished catalogue variant of spare HPE P13809-001, associated with option P13660-B21 and the 960GB SATA 6G Mixed Use SFF SC SE5031 platform.

Its 2.5-inch SFF format is designed for hot-swap installation in a compatible server bay, allowing the drive to be replaced while the system is in use. The HPE Smart Carrier is included, and digitally signed firmware supports managed enterprise integration. Documented height is 7mm.

The SATA 6Gb/s interface has an external transfer rate of 600 MBps. For mixed-use workloads, endurance is rated at 4 DWPD. At 4KB random access, performance reaches 61000 IOPS for reads and 53000 IOPS for writes, figures relevant when assessing the drive for active server data.

This configuration is intended for server environments running mixed applications and regularly accessed data. Smart Carrier format also suits serviceable hot-plug storage assemblies.
