8 Port CAT5 High-Density KVM

The Aten KH1508AI-AX-G is an 8-port Cat 5 high-density KVM over IP switch for accessing multiple computers through one KVM setup. It provides direct connections for 8 computers and fits a 1U rack housing.

Computers connect through RJ-45 ports using Cat 5e/6 cabling, with supported links up to 50 m. Local console operation supports USB and PS/2, while TCP/IP enables remote access through a web browser. KVM adapter cables allow PC, Mac, Sun and serial devices to be used in the same installation.

For a larger setup, daisy-chaining lets one console control up to 128 computers. This makes the switch suited to organizing access across a server room or data center.
