ATEN VE1821-AT-G is a 4K HDMI extender set for carrying video between a source and a display over one Cat 6 cable. It includes a transmitter and receiver, making it useful when the screen needs to sit away from the HDMI source.
The set supports 4K at 30 Hz in 4096 × 2160 or 3840 × 2160 resolution, at distances up to 40 m over Cat 6. A local HDMI output on the transmitter also lets you connect a display at the source end. Power over Cable sends power from the transmitter to the receiver through the Cat 6 link.
It supports HDMI 3D, Deep Color and HDCP 1.4, and provides one-way IR bypass from the receiver back to the transmitter for source control. Package contents: one IR transmitter, one IR receiver, one power adapter and one quick start guide.
