Lindy 43386 2-port USB 2.0 Cat.6 extender connects a computer to USB peripherals located up to 50 m away, using a network cable between its transmitter and receiver. It is suited to setups where USB devices need to be positioned farther from the host computer.
The extender supports USB 2.0 bandwidth up to 480 Mbps. Its receiver has two USB Type-A ports for peripherals, while the transmitter connects to the host through USB Type-B. The units link over Cat.5e/6 or higher cable; this network cable is not included.
Bidirectional Power over Cable carries power alongside data, allowing the supplied power supply to be connected at either end of the link.
