The Lindy 43400 is a 3 m USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim cable for extending a USB Type-A connection. Built-in active electronics carry the connection between its USB Type-A male plug and USB Type-A female socket, allowing compatible devices to be placed farther from the computer.
It supports data rates up to 5 Gbps and is specified for USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2. The black, round cable has a PVC jacket with a 6.5 mm diameter. It draws power from the USB bus and also has a 2.5/0.7 mm DC socket.
For computers equipped with USB Type-A, the extension can connect devices such as storage drives and webcams at a greater distance. Lindy states that up to five USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim cables can be connected in series.
Package contents: 1.5 m USB Type-A to 2.5 mm DC cable.
