30m Fibre Optic USB 3.0 Cable

Lindy 43345 is a 30 m active optical USB 3.0 extension cable for carrying a USB connection over a longer distance. Its main link runs from a USB Type-A male plug to a USB Type-A female socket, with a separate USB Type-A cable for power.

The optical link supports data rates up to 5 Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. It uses 62.5/125/250 multimode optical fibre. The round TPU jacket is 3 mm in diameter; its flexible form helps route the cable through trays or conduits.

Up to three cables can be connected in series for a stated total length of up to 90 m. Isochronous data transfer supports synchronising video and audio streams, including with 4K USB webcams and video-conferencing systems.
