The HPE 817096-001 is a 120 GB hot-plug SSD for server storage. Its Serial ATA interface provides a 6 Gb/s transfer rate for systems with SATA drive connectivity.

This Mixed Use-2 (MU-2) model is intended for workloads combining reads and writes. The 2.5-inch SFF form factor fits compatible small-form-factor drive bays.

The drive comes in a Smart Carrier (SC) for use with HPE server platforms designed for carrier-based hot-plug drives. It also supports Power Loss Protection (PLP).
