UGREEN CM129 (40964) is an external USB stereo sound adapter for connecting headphones, a microphone or a headset to a computer. It adds separate audio input and output connections through USB.
It has a USB 2.0 Type-A plug and three 3.5 mm audio ports: separate headphone and microphone ports, plus a four-pin CTIA combo port for a headset. Volume adjustment and controls to disable the headphone and microphone are built in. Hot-swapping and operation without an additional driver are listed, so the adapter can be connected or disconnected while the computer is running.
Windows, Mac OS and Linux are listed as supported operating systems. The black adapter has a 15 cm cable and measures 74 × 34 × 15.5 mm. Audio specifications include 48 kHz, 16-bit sampling, a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 85 dB and a frequency response of 20 Hz–20 kHz. The three ports let you choose between separate headphones and a microphone or a compatible headset.
