Planet ZT-800 is a dual-10G VPN security gateway for managing enterprise network access and encrypted connections between sites. It combines Zero Trust access controls with routing and VPN functions for distributed networks.
For network connections, the unit provides four 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports, a multi-rate RJ45 port supporting up to 10G, and a 1G/2.5G/10G SFP+ port. A USB 2.0 port supports configuration backup and restoration. The mix of copper and fiber interfaces gives network administrators options for connecting equipment and choosing WAN or LAN roles through software configuration.
VPN options include IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, GRE, PPTP and L2TP. Identity based and role based access enforcement, multi-factor authentication and FIDO2 hardware security key support help control who can administer or access the network. The metal enclosure can be installed on a desktop or mounted in a rack. Power input is 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz; maximum consumption is 3.3 W without connections and 11 W at full load.
