StarTech.com 1M-MDP-HDMI2-4K60 is an active cable for connecting a Mini DisplayPort computer to an HDMI display. Its 1 m length provides a direct link, with Mini DisplayPort as the input and HDMI 2.0 as the output. Video travels from the source to the display in one direction.

The cable supports resolutions up to 4K (3840 × 2160) at 60 Hz and HDMI 7.1-channel audio. With a Mini DisplayPort 1.2 source, it supports 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and 8-bit colour depth, allowing detailed UHD output to a compatible HDMI screen.

An active chipset supports standard Mini DisplayPort and mDP++ ports, and the cable needs no external power. It is designed for Mini DisplayPort 1.2, 1.4 and 2.1 sources and supports HDCP 2.3 and DPCP content protection.
