ATEN US4224-AT is a USB 2.0 sharing switch that lets two computers use the same set of up to four USB Type-A peripherals. It is useful for a desk setup where a keyboard, mouse, printer or other USB devices need to be switched between two computers without moving their cables.
Choose the active computer with the built-in button. USB 2.0 supports transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps, and the switch has two USB Type-A connections for computers and four for peripherals. An optional USB-C port provides an additional power connection. The manufacturer lists plug-and-play operation with Windows, macOS and Linux, without driver or software installation.
