Rackmount.IT RM-DE-T2 is a rack-mount kit for installing a Dell OptiPlex MFF series computer in a 19-inch rack. Its 1U form factor brings the compact computer into a rack setup while keeping its connections accessible at the front.
The kit measures 43.5 × 483 × 216 mm and has a jet-black finish. Front-facing connections make it easier to reach the setup from the rack front. Retainers secure the computer in the kit, and a holder fixes its power supply to the rack. The manufacturer’s installation description also mentions connecting included cables to keystones.
Rackmount.IT lists the OptiPlex MFF series as compatible, along with Dell Pro Micro, Dell Pro 5 Micro and Dell Pro Plus Micro. This makes the RM-DE-T2 a purpose-designed mounting option for these compact Dell systems.
