Honeywell Solaris XP 7990G (7990G-2USBC-1) is a vertical slot presentation scanner for retail checkout counters. This exact kit combines 2D scanning with a USB connection and includes an EU power supply, making it suited to installations that use this regional kit configuration.

The imager reads 1D and 2D barcodes as well as PDF, postal and OCR codes. Alongside USB, the scanner supports RS232, Keyboard Wedge and IBM 46xx (RS485) host interfaces, giving checkout systems several connection options. It is a corded device.

The housing measures 148 × 152 × 85 mm (H × W × D). Honeywell describes the Solaris XP 7990G as designed to fit existing enclosures used in high-volume retail checkouts, including convenience, drug, specialty, liquor and grocery stores.
