The HP Pro Shredder 12MC, product number 2814, is a micro-cut shredder for disposing of documents and other listed media. It handles up to 12 sheets at once, cutting them into 2 × 15 mm pieces to meet security level P-5 under DIN 66399. This fine cut is suited to document disposal where that security level is required.
The pull-out waste bin holds 25 L; the unit measures 400 × 271.5 × 592 mm. It can shred paper, staples, paper clips and credit cards, allowing these items to be processed alongside documents.
Automatic start and stop support routine use, and automatic reverse is available during operation. Indicators report when the bin is full, or if the unit overheats or is overloaded. The rated continuous run time is 30 minutes and the specified noise level is 55 dB.
