The Plustek OpticFilm 8200i Ai (article number 0227TS) is a dedicated scanner for digitising 35 mm photographic negatives and slides, bringing film originals into a digital workflow.
With 7200 dpi optical resolution and 48-bit color input, it captures film images for further work. Its built-in infrared channel detects dust and scratches and supports their removal during scanning, which can reduce the need for manual retouching.
The Ai version bundles SilverFast Ai Studio and includes an IT8 calibration target for color calibration. The scanner and software support color management and preparation of scanned film images for editing or printing.
