Microlab M-223 is a black 2.1 speaker system with a built-in amplifier, comprising two satellites and a subwoofer. Its 17 W RMS output is divided into 4 × 2 W for the satellites and 9 W for the subwoofer, for multimedia listening setups.

Each satellite has a 2.5-inch high-frequency driver, while the subwoofer uses a 4-inch low-frequency driver. The stated amplifier frequency response is 60–20,000 Hz. Glossy plastic finishes the front panels of all three units.

Volume, bass and balance controls are on the subwoofer’s front panel, making these settings accessible there. The system has 2RCA input and output connections. Satellite dimensions are 88 × 150 × 95 mm; the subwoofer measures 155 × 225 × 270 mm.
