The Value S0747 connects a USB 3.1 Type-C port to compatible 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drives. Its combined 7+15-pin SATA connector fits drives with that interface.

Support for SATA 1.0, SATA 2.0 and SATA 3.0 covers the listed drive generations. The approximately 30 cm plastic cable provides the connection, with plug-and-play and hot-swap support also specified.

A 12 V/2 A power adapter is required for a 3.5-inch hard drive, allowing it to receive separate power when connected. The adapter is included in the listed package.
