The Value S0588 adapter connects a Mini DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort display through a separate cable. Its Mini DisplayPort male plug and DisplayPort female socket make it suitable for a computer or tablet with Mini DisplayPort; the display cable is needed separately.
It carries audio and video and supports resolutions up to 4Kx2K, including 3840x2160, 2560x1600, 2560x1440, 1920x1200 and 1080p. Compatibility with DisplayPort 1.2 is also stated, giving you the listed resolution options when connecting a compatible display.
