The B00207 active USB extension cable connects a USB device to a computer, extending the reach of the connection with a Type-A male plug and Type-A female socket.

It uses the USB 2.0 standard and is 10 m long. A built-in signal amplifier supports signal transmission along the cable, with a stated data rate of up to 480 Mbit/s.

The cable draws power through USB, so it does not need an external power supply. Its silver finish makes it easy to identify when extending a USB peripheral connection beyond the standard reach.
