The Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE (article 0226TS) is a dedicated scanner for 35 mm film negatives and mounted slides, made for digitizing colour and black-and-white film.

Its CCD sensor, LED illumination and 7200 dpi optical resolution capture film through a 48-bit colour input. The 36.8 mm × 25.4 mm scan area suits individual film frames, and USB 2.0 connects the scanner to a computer.

A built-in infrared channel detects dust and scratches. Included SilverFast SE Plus software provides iSRD processing for these defects during scanning, useful when digitizing slide collections and colour or black-and-white negatives.
