The Ubiquiti UACC-Lock-Strike-Secure-8mm is a fail-secure electric strike lock for controlled door access. Its strike design supports an 8 mm lock slot depth, matching installations that require this slot depth.
In fail-secure operation, the lock remains locked without power and releases when electricity is applied. Ubiquiti describes connecting this model to a UniFi Access Control Hub relay, where the relay can apply power to unlock it. This makes the strike suitable for access setups that use that control method.
