The HPE P04570-B21 is a 3.84TB solid-state drive for server storage with read-intensive workloads. Its SATA 6 Gb/s interface and 2.5-inch SFF form factor fit servers with a compatible SFF bay.
Designed for hot swapping, the drive uses an HPE Smart Carrier for installation in compatible HPE server bays. Its digitally signed firmware identifies the drive configuration documented by HPE.
The Read Intensive model suits server storage tasks dominated by reading, where substantial solid-state capacity and SATA connectivity are needed. A single 7-pin SATA interface provides the drive’s physical connection.
HPE lists the P04570-B21 among SSDs for ProLiant servers, including the DL, ML, BL, SL and XL families, as well as HPE Synergy systems. It can be used for data repositories and other applications with predominantly read operations.
