The TP-Link Tapo D205 is a battery-powered video doorbell for monitoring a home entrance and speaking with visitors. Its 2K 3MP resolution (2304 × 1296 pixels) and 160° diagonal field of view show the entrance in recorded video.

A built-in rechargeable 5,200 mAh lithium-ion battery powers the doorbell. Person and motion detection, customizable activity zones and doorbell calls help notify users about activity at the entrance; two-way audio lets them communicate with visitors.

Save footage to a microSD card up to 512 GB or to Tapo Care cloud storage, which requires a subscription. The doorbell has an IP54 rating and connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Tapo Hub models H100, H200 and H500 can provide chime alerts and are sold separately.
