The TP-Link TL-SF1005LP V1 is an unmanaged desktop Fast Ethernet switch for connecting wired network devices. It has five 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports, with PoE on ports 1–4. These ports carry data and power over individual network cables to compatible devices.
A total PoE budget of 41 W and operation without configuration make it straightforward to add compatible devices to a small network. The metal-cased, fanless switch can sit on a desk or be mounted on a wall. Its enclosure measures 100 × 98 × 25 mm.
Extend Mode transmits data and power up to 250 m through ports 1–4, with port speed reduced to 10 Mbps in this mode. Examples of compatible devices include IP cameras, access points and IP phones; the switch can extend a wired network for surveillance or Wi-Fi coverage.
