The TP-Link LiteWave LS1008G is an unmanaged desktop switch for expanding a wired network. Its 8 RJ45 ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps, automatic speed negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDIX. TP-Link lists computers, printers, webcams and IPTV equipment among the network devices it is used with.
The fanless plastic casing can sit on a desk or be mounted on a wall. The switch supports IEEE 802.3X flow control and Store and Forward transmission. Energy-saving technology adjusts power use according to link status and cable length.
It measures 127 × 66.5 × 23 mm and uses an external adapter rated at 9 V DC, 0.6 A. The package includes the switch, power adapter and installation guide. TP-Link lists homes, small businesses, dormitories and surveillance networks as possible settings.
