The Green Cell INV12 is a vehicle power inverter that converts a battery’s 12 V DC into 230 V AC. It provides mains-style power for compatible electrical equipment where a fixed grid socket is unavailable, such as during vehicle use.
The inverter produces a modified sine wave, with 3000 W continuous output and 6000 W peak output at 50 Hz. Green Cell lists an efficiency of 85% for this model. Modified-sine operation is intended for devices including LED lamps, laptops and computers.
The INV12 has overheat and surge protection, plus eight 50 A fuses. Its enclosure measures 370 × 209 × 93 mm.
