TP-Link MC100CM is a media converter that connects 100BASE-FX fiber with 100BASE-TX copper Ethernet, converting between the two in either direction to link fiber and copper network segments.

For multimode fiber, it has two 100M SC/UPC ports and one 10/100M RJ45 port with Auto MDI/MDIX. The supported fiber distance is up to 2 km, with transmitting and receiving at 1310 nm.

It complies with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x, and automatically negotiates half-duplex or full-duplex operation. Its dimensions are 94.5 × 73.0 × 27.0 mm, and it uses an external power supply.
