The TP-Link TL-SG108 is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch that adds wired network connections at home or in an office. Its 8 RJ45 ports auto-negotiate at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps, so devices connect at a supported speed.
Auto-MDI/MDIX removes the need for crossover cables, while plug-and-play operation requires no configuration. IEEE 802.3x flow control supports data transfer, and energy-saving features adjust power use according to link status and cable length.
The fanless switch has a steel housing and can sit on a desktop or be mounted on a wall. Its dimensions are 158 × 101 × 25 mm. This gives computers and other wired devices more connection points in a home or office network.
