PLANET GUP-805A-60W is a media converter for linking fiber and copper Ethernet networks while supplying PoE power to a connected device. Its SFP interface supports 100/1000BASE-X, and the RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000BASE-T, so it can bridge fiber connectivity to standard Ethernet equipment.
The RJ45 port provides up to 60 W of PoE power and supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt devices. A DIP switch selects BT, UPOE or legacy output mode, helping accommodate different PoE-powered network equipment. Suitable applications include PTZ cameras and wireless access points.
The fiber mode and transmission distance depend on the SFP module installed. The converter has a metal case and measures 94 × 70 × 26 mm, with a weight of 144 g.
