The D-Link DIS-S310LX is a Mini-GBIC SFP fibre transceiver for adding a single-mode optical link to compatible network equipment. It is designed for 1000BASE-LX connections and supports distances up to 10 km, making it suitable for links between network locations when single-mode fibre is used.
The module is specified for 1.25 Gbps operation. Its duplex LC connector and 1310 nm wavelength are listed for single-mode 9/125 µm fibre. The transceiver is hot-pluggable, and its stated operating temperature range is −40 to 85 °C.
