The HPE P10454-S21 is a 1.92TB SAS Mixed Use SSD for enterprise servers and workstations. Its 2.5-inch Small Form Factor with SFF Smart Carrier supports hot-plug installation, useful when a drive needs to be replaced without shutting down the system.

With a 12 Gbit/s SAS interface and TLC NAND memory, it is intended for workloads with frequent reads and writes, including data-intensive applications and transactional storage. Specified transfer rates are 810 MB/s read and 635 MB/s write.

Maximum random 4KB performance is 98000 IOPS for reads and 52000 IOPS for writes. Listed latency is 140 µs read and 35 µs write. The HPE Value SAS drive has digitally signed firmware and is suited to enterprise storage and database activity.
